It's Halloween--Make your Salon Take Part

Halloween is coming. Two things are for certain:

  • Halloween has become only second to Christmas for Adult Parties

  • You, the Hair Stylist, are more creative than your clients

Have a Pre-Halloween Costume Planning Party in Your Salon

  • Good Time--Wednesday or Thursday Evening
  • Serve Cookies and Apple Cider
  • Ask Clients to bring actual costumes or pictures of costumes
  • Ask Clients to bring any old wigs in their homes
  • Plan a costume for each person
  • Do a dry-do for each clients' hair either on them or on a wig

Invite the owner or manager of a local costume shop to participate.

Make an appointment for your client to actually get her hair fixed the day of the party!

Insist that they bring you a picture after the party.

You have now made your salon a gathering place for special events. People will talk about you. As always be certain everyone leaves with your business cards. All this for the cost of cookies and cider and a few hours of your time.
